Spiral volute is almost not used in sewage pumps. With simple structure, ring chamber is easy to produce. It is mainly used in small sewage pump. With medium type(semi-spiral type) of volute turning up, the application range of ring chamber becomes narrow. Because medium type of chamber is as efficient as spiral chamber, and as permeable as ring chamber, it has attracted increasing attention from manufacturers.
